Hey there – Lovely to meet you!
I grew up in a family of professional photographers and took my first professional photo at Royal Ascot at the age of 16. Since then, a camera has become my everyday accessory. I am a proud father of a football-mad, teenage son and I have a beautiful wife, Kelly, who supports me in everything I do (even though my mates said I was punching above my weight…).
I can do really formal photos but what I like more than anything is having some fun with the people I work with – in this way I get to capture the real joy of every special occasion.
I have a real zest for life, from jumping out of planes to travelling to far-flung locations, but as a family man, I love to watch my son play football, spending time with family and friends and walking the dogs.

WEDDING
DAY
WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
SO, YOUR WEDDING IS FINALLY HERE!
Getting ready for the day! I can be there a couple of hours before you need me - no late arrivals (at home or hotel, your choice). The fun, the first champagne of the day, the hugs, the tears, the hair, the make-up. Then at the venue, the setting up, the arrival of the groom and best man, the ushers, the guests. Kids involved – get them in the photos!
TOP TIPS
Tricky task, I know! However try and keep the room tidy. If you’d like to a dress shot – think about hangers, wrapping, bedding and tables.
Gifts and cards – You may want to wait until I am there to capture those moments when the cards or gifts are opened. I can also be your go-between!
However if you think this bit may send you over the edge, you can always do it the night before or make sure these emotional moments happen before your make up is done!

I will capture the moments, the emotions, the connections and the love in a calm and natural way, so you can be absorbed in whats happening. Relax and let me take care of everything.
…AND RELAX, THE HARD BIT IS OVER.
Best friends, the family… A lifetime of experience helps me get the very best out of everything that is required. You can come up with the list of course, then I will make the magic happen! The unexpected can be fabulous. I’ll need my wingman or wingwoman arranged – the best man or chief bridesmaid is great to have the list. I can be as bossy as required to make this the best photos of the day! Quickly and competently to get you on with the fun of the day!
TOP TIPS
If you have someone who loves to cajole and herd people, then give them a list of your guests and let them loose! Theres always at least one in the bridal party! Maybe one from each side of the family too.
Keep it condensed and think about what you would realistically print after your wedding. Group shots take a second to shoot, but rallying 2nd Aunt Elsie or Dad’s relatives from the free bar can really eat into your downtime. Average is between 8 & 10 and that takes around 20-30 minutes.

YOU WON’T FEEL A THING!
My couples tell me this is the photo they feel is the most important but the ones that they are looking forward to the least. I understand. It can feel like more stress, but trust me, it’ll be fun (really!). It’s an opportunity to spend ten quietish minutes together as I capture you in some gorgeous light or with some beautiful architecture as your backdrop.
TOP TIPS
Be flexible and trust me! We’ll grab 15-20 minutes before you head in to breakfast and generally I’ll time it to overlap with when your guests go in, just so you’re not away from your favourites for longer than necessary. We’ll also try and set aside another little session later when everything calms. My main guidance will be the weather Gods! So if I sidle up to you mid chat, it’s normally because something wonderful is happening with light that needs us to run and grab it!
I’ll always scout out some special places to go but if there is somewhere you particularly love or part of the venue you’re drawn to, just let me know.
THE PARTY!
The party! The final chapter to the day needs just as much attention as the first one. I don’t pack up when your first dance is done, no best moves are never performed that early… There will be an organic time to leave you all to it.
Then that’s it! Having everyone you love in one space, having married your best friend, feeling a million dollars in you finery and a little fuzzy on champagne – I really don’t need to be involved any more and just like that, I’ll have a goodbye hug, then I’m gone! The night is yours!
